Sad Day

The last 6 months have been just one thing after another.
among other things....
I lost my job and my boyfriend
diagnosed with depression
my car was keyed
got in a fight with one of my best friends & we didnt talk for like 3 weeks
I got rear-ended & had to go to the hospital
My phone was stolen
i just don't really know what to say anymore you know?
I don't really want a pity party or anything but still
I always felt like I was a good person
so why does karma keep slapping me in the face?

BASSH

Last weekend I went to Santa Barbara with my friends Kaysee and Haylee for Kaysee's dance team show at BASSH.

It was a lot of fun walking alone State St. seeing all the crazy characters and watching her amazing hip-hop skills at the actual show.
we stayed for 2 days, shopped, went to the beach, and Kaysee & Haylee got tattoos that turned out pretty awesome. I slept through that ordeal, mostly because I was informed that I am allowed to get a tattoo.... the day before I move out.

New Years/Birthday

I never ever thought that I could make someone so angry at me that they would retaliate in such a juvenile way. But yes, I have accomplished the impossible: my car got keyed on New Year's Eve simply because I didn't want to hang out with someone anymore. I guess that's what happens when you get drunk at 5pm on New Year's Eve; people don't want to be around you and you make a fool out of yourself. She called me and wanted to hang out. I said no, I really don't want to anymore.... and she got very upset, rode her bike to my house, and proceeded to try to get me to come outside and fight her. I laughed it off, said no, stayed inside, and while I was inside having a very casual and good New Years with my best friend Nellie and my brother Matt, she was outside keying my car. How rude.

A few days later, I was laying in bed with Nells beside me and just wanted very much to go to LA. We called Eva and then an hour later we were on our way to Venice Beach (again!!)

We walked down the strip, went to the sand, watched the ocean for a little bit, ate dinner with Eva's friend, and then visited my 2 good friends Conner and Miguel. It was a very fun, relaxing day - the perfect prelude to my oh-so-exciting 21st birthday.

On the 19th I turned 21!!! Even though the day was good, the night was lame, but it's okay. I got to spend my birthday with the people that really care about me and that was enough. Kaysee

and I hot tubbed and then me and Nellie

hung out with Eva

and then went over to my buddy Nick's house

and kicked it there. My bday was great. I got what I wanted (wow mom and dad actually listened!!!) and in addition, I got some cash and of course, See's candy.

On Wednesday the 21st I started school!! I am taking 15 units, and that includes College Orchestra on Thursdays. Our first concert is on March 5 at 7pm at Highland high School. I am super excited to get back into the groove when in comes to playing my violin. :)
